First ride

The fit is perfect based on previous sized bibs.
XL=XL. So I got these for the long winter indoor training rides. First time on bike after 4 weeks off. Easy half hour and the under carriage being a little bit soft felt as good as the initial start. Love the chamois. My new favorite.

Deffinate difference

I have several different levels of Black Bibb, and this one is deffinately the most comfortable. Was so impressed I grabbed another pair before they sold out again.

3D bibs

A couple or three short rides (about an hour each) so far, and I've been most pleased. As a person who has been prone to frequent saddle sores, I'm very sensitive to the saddle/rider interface. So far (and this based on very limited experience), these have been the (as claimed by the Black Bib Co.), the most comfortable bibs I've yet tried. The chamois works well for me. And I've gone through a host of shorts and bibs from the very expensive to bargain basement cheapos in my 20+ years of riding. At last, I think I have found an excellent pair of bibs that successfully address the issue of rider comfort.

3D bibs review

Based on first ride, I'm pleased. I'm 6 foot and 170 lbs and ordered a size L. My legs are on the thin side, but the grips held well and the shoulder straps are comfortable. I really. like the low cut front for going to the bathroom. Still deciding on the chamois.

Feels good on two of my three bikes.

I have two bikes with Brooks B17 saddles. Both of these bikes have me sitting in an upright position. These bibs feel great on them including fixing a hot spot on one side.

The third bike has a gel saddle and aerobars so I'm in a much different position on the bike. Sadly, these bibs don't help as much on this bike. Still good but not much better than the regular bibs that I've bought from The Black Bibs.

One thing to consider is that I was born with club foot. My right leg is about an inch shorter than the left. This causes issues with any shorts or saddles.
