The fit is "snugger" than the non-thermal size large bibs. Nice and warm on the cool days!

The knickers are good for what they are, and fit is pretty consistent with other Black Bibs products. I really REALLY wish these came in a tall size though, with the longer shoulder straps... the tall sizes are a key advantage that Black Bibs has over other competitors, but I am super bummed that the extra-long straps are not available for the winter / thermal kits. I usually wear an XL Tall for the normal bibs... for these thermal knickers, I also got XL and it fits ok, albeit with some tightness on the shoulder straps. I did try an XXL, but it got too baggy in the stomach area... so sticking with XL. Part of me wants to return these knickers because the fit is far from perfect for a tall rider... but I also know that these are my ONLY option for thermal bibs without going into the super high $$, so I'm sticking with them, kinda grudgingly. PLEASE consider making tall size / extra-long-should-strap thermal bibs??

Fuzzy and warm on the inside; sleek and slippery on the outside. Fits like a second skin, helping you to blast through headwinds. Highly recommended. Chamois is par excellence. Recently kid 100kms and no worries at all.

I had the opportunity to wear these knickers for the first time yesterday. Very comfortable, and quite warm. No issues with seams or the chamois pad. And the side pockets are a nice bonus. Great piece of kit and the price is unbeatable! Proof you don’t have to spend $300 to get quality knickers. I’m 5’11 and 160 lbs and the medium was a perfect fit.

I feel like they may run a bit small. I have always been a solid Medium and these are a bit tighter (5'9" 156lbs)
With that being said, I still would not have bought a size Large.
But if you are higher in the range, you may think about sizing up.
