The Black Bibs are my first and only pairs of bib shorts, I had only used liner shorts up until this point. Boy, are bib shorts a game-changer! They are miles more comfortable than liner shorts, stay put, and have a better chamois. After one ride, I ordered another pair.

I can't compare them any other bib shorts, but the quality seems excellent for the price. The size guide was bang-on as well. I'm a rounder fellow with a 36-38" waist and 48" chest, and an XL fits me nicely. I really appreciate the short inseam option, it's very difficult to find well-fitting cycling gear as a shorter guy. I'll definitely be buying more pairs.

Long time cyclist - long time purchaser of overpriced cycling kit - until now.

I saw a post by Phil Gaimon about The Black Bibs - how they're very bit as good as the $$$ brands, but at a fraction of the cost. I thought - sure - but these can't actually be race-worthy kit.

How I was wrong. I'm 6' and 210lbs (95kg) - so not exactly an aerodynamic wunderkind. More of a bulky kit destroyer type. So far - every piece I've tried (bibs, jerseys, and a vest) have all fit perfectly - race level fit and quality - and my first set has at least a few 1000km on it - and looks like new.

Anyways - highly recommend!

I got the XL based on the recommendations by customer service. I am very pleased with the quality, fit and chamois in these! they feel great to ride in 2-4 hours.

Love them. Going to buy many more!

Used these a few times now. Found them to have padding on the thicker side but never got that diaper feeling even riding in the crazy hot/humid weather we've been having in the NE recently. I'm 5'10" 34" waist and the large fit well with the shoulder straps being snug but not uncomfortable. Of course great price for this level of performance.
