First off, this suit fits pretty tight. That's why I prefer skin suits, but if you're between sizes, definitely size up.

On my first ride with my new suit, I crashed, and incredibly the suit wasn't damaged at all, even though I slid on my thigh for a few feet. I got mild road rash underneath where my leg was covered, but my uncovered elbow got torn up significantly worse. If I ever have to end up replacing my road suit, I know I'm definitely buying another one from Black Bibs.

Getting a great fit on a one-piece road suit has, for me at least, been a bit of a **** shoot. If previous kits seemed to fit well in the torso then it was probably not form-fitting enough to be really aero; if it was form fitting all round then it would mean I'd have to walk around like the proverbial Hunchback of Notre Dame. After receiving an email stating that The Black Bibs offered their road suit in white, I gave it a try. After all, I own numerous other Black Bibs products and — I love them all. Being on the cusp between small and medium, I pinged their Customer Service with my sizing concerns. They immediately contacted me with a thorough and thoughtful response. I followed the advise and purchased the size small and... why was I so suprised? Great fabric quality, a fit that was snug all around without forcing me to be a contortionist, and my white helmet, white sunnies, and white aero mits now had a matching friend. The Black Bibs have simply never let me down.

High-quality road suit that is on par with all the big name brands and, dare I say, even better than some. It has a snug fit, just as expected from a one-piece suit, but not so tight that it would restrict movement. Two back pockets for food, cellphone, etc... making it perfect for long rides/races. All the aero benefits without compromising on storage! And you can't forget to mention just how sweet the white top and black bottom looks! The Black Bibs outdid themselves again!
