The stitching started to come out of the little pockets on the sides ater 1 ride. I have now worn it twice and the sides pockets have 3 holes in them where the stitching has come unravelled.

The pad is pretty minimal but so far has been ok.

The fit is good and I really like how deep the pockets on the back are.

Comfortable skinsuit, great customer service, but the pockets to differentiate this as a “gravel” product need some work. When I received my first order, I tried on the skinsuit and both pockets immediately ripped and had small holes in them due to what looks like weak stitching. I contacted Black Bibs and they immediately sent out a replacement which was very much appreciated. Fast forward to last night when I used the skinsuit in a mid week road race and afterward noticed that both pockets were ripped out again in the same fashion. The suit itself is decent, thicker material that feels durable w a mid level chamois. For what it’s worth, I’d save $10 and get the suit without the pockets bc they simply aren’t constructed well. Great idea but lackluster construction for sure.
