6’5 / 155lbs

Ordered size medium. Fit is nice thru the legs, plenty of length. Wish there was more length in the shoulder straps though. Nothing an easy stitch at the tailor can’t fix and still so much better than the rapha or LG bibs I’ve had. My 2nd pair from black bibs will order again

The Black Bibs are the Best !
You can pay more but you’re not going to get better…..what you save on Bibs you can spend on Chains and Tires

Shorts for Tall People!

I’m 6’4” , 180 lbs. the large fits nicely normally I have to pay a tailor to extend the suspenders 4” and wear knee warmers to make it look like I’m not wearing hot pants. With the TALLS I could wear them immediately. I have a 36” inseam and the TALLS are a touch too long for me. They stop just above my knees. If they were custom, I’d have them 2” shorter. Materials and workmanship are excellent. I wish they said Black Bibs inside on the label. By the time I need a new pair it’s hard to remember the brand, model, size.

24-hour TT Races--These Rock!

This fall I have been testing the "top end" models from Pearl Izumi and Craft and none have the comfort as the Ultimate Chamois on The Black Bibs, esp. while in the aero or time trial position. The trend with the other brands seems to be a new short pad design, making them less comfortable for TT use. I used these bibs earlier this month on a 24-hour race -- usually for such events I have to re-apply chamois lube part way through...but not with these. Perfect...please don't change the chamois pad.

Great bibs.

At 6’5 myself with an inseam measured at 37”, the “tall” bibs wound up being slightly too long in the leg area, but the strap length (and everything else) is perfect. May consider ordering the long strap / regular inseam version whenever I order the next set.

Despite the minor length issue with the inseam, I’ve been able to just about double my mileage vs. the more expensive Castelli bibs I was wearing before.
