Very warm, good for varying weather conditions as they breathe but not too much, they still have the thermal layer to keep you warm
Very satisfied with my full length bibs
Love these bibs for the most part. As usual I needed to size up to large and the shoulder straps are still a tad short. I’m 5’11, with a 32” inseam (so long torso) and 163 lbs, and the mediums are too tight all over and there is no way I’m getting the straps over my shoulder. With L everything from the waist down is very functional and comfortable. But those straps! Please add a couple inches.
I'm 6'4", average build, & i know from experience that cycling apparel runs small, so i ordered an XXL instead of an XL, & even though i sized up, it is way, way too small. The length in the legs is appropriate, but the bib straps & general fit from the mid-thigh up is just wildly & uncomfortably tight, like it needs another inch or two of fabric in the bib straps that isn't there. It makes for an extremely uncomfortable ride, & I am profoundly disappointed, to say the least. Quite an expensive sort of thing to be ripped-off on, with no recourse. So i've just been riding in them anyways, despite the ill fit, because i can't afford to buy another one, & it's pretty miserable.
I've also heard/felt stitches pop in them, while putting them on, twice already. Again, it's only been a small handful of rides, but i heard & felt stitches pop literally the second time i put them on, which i feel is indicative of spectacularly poor quality, -& again- poor fit.
I should note too, that there seems to be some visible & tactile wear/pilling on the outside of the pants in the groin/seat area (again after only a few rides), which i've never seen on my other cycling shorts/bib.
Also would like to note that after just a few rides, in less than a month of use, despite my being extremely careful putting them on & taking them off, & despite my following the washing instructions to a "t" (washed delicate & cold; hung to dry, as well, no dryer), runs have developed in the fabric of the lower leg, on each side. Ultimately as far as i can tell this is just cosmetic (hopefully), but it's alarming considering (again) the cost of this sort of thing. I would have hoped that they'd have been better constructed than that.
Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the material is warm & (aside from the poor fit) pretty comfortable against the skin, & the side pockets are nice.
I happen to love these bib tights and the only thing that I am angry about is that they did not come out 5 or 10 years ago! They are super comfortable and work great for me down to about 35 degrees. I especially love the pockets so I can keep my phone handy on my winter rides. Love 'em and would highly recommend them to anyone that wants to ride when it's chilly out and still get the miles in.
