Big rider, 6,1 230 pounds. Purchasing 3 pair about 2 years ago, happy with the quality and still going strong. Having a few bucks laying around, just purchased another couple pair and still just as happy as the first gang. I used to get shorts at reasonable prices back in 05 but recently, not willing to spend $300 and the $120 shorts I've been buying of popular brands have been letting me down. Once I gave these a try and found they wear well, I was more than willing to buy more. I actually have the upgraded set as well but prefer the basic as it fits much better around my knees vs the big band of the upgraded around the knee, fits baggy hanging over the knee bone. The basic fit nice. Chamois is pretty good and works better than I was expecting at first glance. But hey, 60 miles is easy and for $35, I'm more than pleased! Previous pads were red and these bright green with little designs on them Kind of uhhh, different looking but they work and nobody's inspecting my chamois anyway ha ha ha!

Ordered the socks to qualify for free shipping. Spend 10 on the socks or 11 for shipping ? No brainer. First 2 rides of 40 miles, pleasantly surprised! Well constructed, durable, and supportive material thick enough to feel they aren't cheap, good quality! Like 'em !!!

The bibs are just amazing. No riding up, perfect fit (for me), continuing what I have found over the years with every the Black Bibs products. You can't go wrong.

Perfect getting, great chamois, excellent value. Will buy again.

I ride Mtb’s a ton and have difficulty finding a liner. I’ve used the Black Bibs Ultimate Adventure Liner for a month now for my Mtb rides and I will be switching out all my MTB liners to The Black Bibs. Super comfortable and I could ride all day in them without having to adjust or feel like they are bunching up.

Being fairly new to cycling, I wish I would have known about The Black Bibs sooner. placed my order on 4/14 and received on 4/18, and that was USPS shipping! I am 6'6" and the other I have tried their models must have been 4'6". I never knew a bib could be so comfortable. I would also say at $85.00, these are as comfortable and the same quality as bibs I have bought at twice price.
If you are tall or big or big and tall and have struggled to find a quality bib that doesn't force you to eat ramen the rest of the month give these a try. You don't have to spend $150.00+ to get a great bib, that isn't even offered in a tall size!
I have only used them a couple of times now. I will update my review after a few more rides.
Many Thanks to Cliff for all of his assistance!

Shows my soft side when pushing 500Watt. I don't know why I did a review for a cycling bottle!!!

After the first ride the chamois felt like it got broken in and these bibs are very comfortable. Washed after each ride and had 3 consecutive days of 34 miles each. The exterior felt slick on the first two rides but no issues. I will order more!

Great vest with vibrant color, nice material quality, and 2-way zipper. Two rear pockets are great for storing extra food, phone, etc. and the 2-way zipper makes it easy to get to your jersey pockets (an unexpected bonus). It compacts down nicely to tuck into a jersey pocket if the temps rise. (I wear a women's medium race fit TBB jersey and find the XS to be a good slim fit -- I am 5'6", 130 lbs, and have a slim torso.)

Great fit. No pinching or slipping. Solid construction. My new go to shorts. No frills just fit, comfort and a very reasonable price. And made in the USA.

I had my first ride with these today on suburban mtb/gravel trails. Temps were warm (~60) and my hands were neither hot nor cold. I could probably use these down to 50 degrees with no problem. The palm has some padding, but not a lot. I generally ride gloves with no padding, so it took a minute to get used to the extra bulk. After an hour, though, I didn’t notice the padding at all, and the fit was very good. I generally wear a men’s small, and the small size in this glove was perfect. The construction is very good.

I’m really pleased with them. They look great and feel great. Really impressed with how they perform!

This fall I have been testing the "top end" models from Pearl Izumi and Craft and none have the comfort as the Ultimate Chamois on The Black Bibs, esp. while in the aero or time trial position. The trend with the other brands seems to be a new short pad design, making them less comfortable for TT use. I used these bibs earlier this month on a 24-hour race -- usually for such events I have to re-apply chamois lube part way through...but not with these. Perfect...please don't change the chamois pad.

These were delivered on a Friday. Wore them on my birthday ride (81 miles) the next morning. Zero discomfort for the entire distance. Definitely recommend!
